Remaking Life in Neo-Liberal Times

Normalcy, Conflict and Displacement in Jammu and Kashmir

Author
Ankur Datta

I will first consider discussions of normalcy with regards to Kashmiris in the Kashmir valley. While the conflict is understood in terms of competing South Asian nationalisms, I situate ‘normalcy’ in relation to contemporary studies of conflict and neo-liberalism.
